Resources used in class

Daily assignments are posted on Google Classroom. Feel free to take a look at your student's Google Classroom pages. The 'Team Odyssey' Google Classroom page posts the daily homework for each of the Team Odyssey classes.

SRC, or Scholastic Reading Counts, is our independent reading website. After completing an independent reading book, students will log into the SRC website and take a quiz on the book they read. This score will be recorded in ASPEN in the independent category.

ReadTheory is a website where students can practice their reading comprehension. Students read a passage and answer comprehension questions. The website assigns passages based on their performance on previous passages. This helps to continue to challenge the students. We will be working with this website throughout the year.

StudySync is a curriculum program that we will use throughout the year. Through this program we will practice skills including fiction and nonfiction texts. 6th grade English and Reading classes utilize this program.
