Health Information for Transition to Kindergarten

It is an exciting time for our soon-to-be Kindergarten families! The countdown is on.

I am preparing your child’s health records to ensure that they have the requirements for entry to elementary school. I collaborate with the other school nurses to make the transition as smooth as possible.

In addition to preparing your child’s health records, I will be connecting with your child’s elementary school nurse to share information about specific health concerns. If your child has allergies, takes medications during the school day, or has an individualized health care plan, your child’s new school nurse will be updated at that time.
