Facilitating & Training
Facilitating & Training
I am dedicated to fostering positive change, growth, and learning through the transformative power of narrative. My facilitation approach is engaging, thought-provoking, and results-driven, inspiring individuals and organisations to navigate change with confidence, creativity, and optimism.
With over two decades experience working in theatre, I bring a dynamic and interactive approach to my work. My training as an actor at The Oxford School of Drama and my MSt in Writing for Performance from the University of Cambridge (where I focused on Narrative Theory and the psychology of how stories create mindset change) have given me a unique perspective on personal and professional development. I draw on narrative psychology, Jungian psychology, archetypal storytelling, and behavioural and cognitive science to create training experiences that go beyond theory, helping participants apply what they learn in real-world contexts.
I have facilitated training and workshops in a wide range of areas, including:
Leadership Development – Helping individuals and teams harness storytelling for influence, motivation, and decision-making.
Communication Skills – Enhancing clarity, persuasion, and active listening for professionals at all levels.
Resilience Training – Supporting individuals and teams in building mental resilience and emotional agility in challenging situations.
Emotional Intelligence – Strengthening self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal skills for more effective collaboration.
Creative Problem-Solving – Using narrative and lateral thinking techniques to approach challenges from new perspectives.
Conflict Resolution & Team Building – Improving collaboration, trust, and problem-solving through storytelling and structured dialogue.
Reducing Parental Conflict – Equipping professionals with the tools to understand and address the impact of conflict on children.
Tackling Sexism & Misogyny – Exploring how social narratives and unconscious biases sustain inequality, and how they can be challenged.
Coping with Change – Helping individuals and organisations navigate transition with adaptability, resilience, and strategic thinking.
As a trained facilitator with Narrative 4, I am leading the UK pilot project, training school staff in storytelling methods to foster empathy, social cohesion, and deeper connection within educational settings.
Additionally, I work with actors, performers, and creative writing students, focusing on unlocking text, character, and narrative structure to enhance their craft.
Much of my work is informed by age-old narrative patterns, drawing on the deep structures of story - its archetypes, myths, and enduring motifs - not as abstract theory, but as practical tools for insight, communication, and transformation.
Whether working with corporate teams, educators, creatives, or community groups, my goal remains the same: to harness the alchemy of narrative to inspire growth, connection, and change.
