1) The first motion is focused on “purchased electronic literature.” When you pay for an eBook of Nar-Anon literature, you have already exchanged money for a right to use the literature. This motion suggests that the “written permission” included within the copyright in “purchased electronic literature” is written permission to use that literature within a Nar-Anon meeting.

2) The second motion is focused on “downloaded literature.” When you download Nar-Anon literature from the Nar-Anon world service website (www.nar-anon.org), you are exercising an implied right to view an electronic version of the literature. This motion suggests that the “implied permission” included when Nar-Anon literature is posted onto the www.nar-anon.org website includes permission for others to also view that literature within a Nar-Anon meeting.
