On the field, it is team first.
Bullying of ANY sort will not be tolerated. If any coach finds out about it, we have a responsibility to take action.
All NAMS handbook rules should be viewed and applied.
Come prepared and ready to go to all NAMS lacrosse practices, games and events.
Be on time.
Attitude and effort are the two things you control; they will be the most watched by the coaching staff.
Respect your teammates, coaches, officials and parents.
If there is a conversation about any player with a parent, the player must be present.
You are a reflection of every athlete on the field, please remain respectful.
When in doubt, do not post it. You are representing NAMS, the Girls Lacrosse program, and, most importantly, yourselves.
Practice is where you earn playing time. Games are a privilege.
You will not be punished for lacrosse-based mistakes but understand the coaching staff is trying to do what is best for the team. Repetitive mistakes can impede playing time.
Your attitude is the ONE thing you can control above all else, a negative attitude can (and most likely will) impede playing time.
Practice attendance will play a part in starting and playing time.
An unexcused absence for the practice before a game will prevent you from starting in that game.
An unexcused absence for a game will prevent you from playing the first half of the next game.
Examples of excused absences include: illness or injury, school commitment, or family emergency.
There is a 24-hour post-game rule for playing time conversations.
If you have questions for the coaching staff regarding playing time, first ask yourself the following questions:
Do I know some of the things I need to work on?
What have I done to become a better player and teammate?
How can I be proactive with the coaching staff’s response?
