NA Girls Travel Basketball

*Parks and Rec basketball evaluations will be October 18th and 25th (Primary Gym). 5th/6th graders will evaluate from 3p-4p, 3rd/4th graders will evaluate from 4p-5p

New Albany Girls Travel Basketball

For girls looking for a bit more competition and more court time, New Albany offers a travel basketball league for girls in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. All players that attend New Albany Plain Local Schools are eligible to play in the NA travel league. The program will field 4-6 teams in grades 3-6. Approximately 10 players will be on each team. The season runs from mid October – mid February.

Travel to other school districts is required.

Open Gyms (waiver required to participate):

OPEN TO ALL GIRLS GRADES 3-6 (New Albany ELC) Sundays and Tuesdays (6:00-7:30pm): 9/20, 9/22, 9/27, 9/29, 10/4, 10/6, 10/11

Tryouts (waiver required to participate):

Sunday, 10/18; Monday, 10/19; Tuesday, 10/20

ELC gymnasium: 3/4th grade 5:30-6:45pm, 5/6th 7-8:15pm

Teams will be selected and communicated by Wednesday, Oct. 21 via email. For those not selected, the parks department will still have open enrollment for the recreational program.
