Mrs. Debattista and Mrs. Ball

Welcome to Room 45!

A bit about us!

Mrs. Debattista: My name is Julie Debattista (formerly Fitzpatrick) and this is my seventh year teaching third grade at Naples. I hope that you find this website as a useful option to stay connected with highlights and information from third grade.

I completed my undergraduate degree in early childhood and childhood education at SUNY Fredonia, and soon after moved on to Nazareth College to receive my Master’s degree in teaching students with disabilities. My first few years out of SUNY Fredonia I worked as a Head Start teacher in a preschool setting before joining the Naples family.

I grew up in Geneseo and enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and being outdoors. My awesome dog, Leo, is also embedded into many activities and visuals I use within my classroom. I like to consider him the class mascot!

I am excited for this journey of my seventh year in third grade with a new group of students. I have been very fortunate to have started at Naples with an awesome team and great groups of children, and I have no doubt that this class will deliver the same!

Mrs. Ball: My name is Natalie Ball and I am beginning my 9th year teaching at Naples Elementary.  Prior to that, while my sons attended and graduated from Naples, I was on staff working behind the scenes.  All and all I have been a part of the Naples school community for 18 years.

I enjoyed working with students so much, I went on to attend Finger Lakes Community College and then transferred to Geneseo State College where I earned a teaching degree in Childhood Education/Special Education.  I then went on to earn my masters degree from Walden University in Special Education K-12th grades.  It has been a remarkable journey.

My husband and I enjoy kayaking, camping, and remodeling our 100 year old house.  Naples is a wonderful place for students and staff.  I am looking forward to teaching and learning with our
3rd graders this year.
