My Teaching Philosophy

My favorite part of being a Special Education Teacher is the opportunity I have to interact closely with each of my students. I love getting to know my students as individuals with unique personalities and gifts. I enjoy helping students find their own pathway to learning and feeling successful; recognizing that this path is as unique as each student is. I believe in guiding students to see their own abilities and potential so that they can follow their path as lifelong learners. I believe strongly in partnering with families to make this happen.
