• How do substances combine or change (react) to make new substances?

• How does one characterize and explain these reactions and make predictions about them?

Unit Four:  Cell Biology & Biochemistry

• How can the type atoms that make up the universe and you be used to solve many of our world’s problems?

• How do cells contribute to the function of living organisms?

• How do the structures in plant and animal cells relate to their functions?
