Loss of adhesion between binder and aggregates is one of the main causes of water damage in roads and highways. Our products combine permanent chemical bonding between aggregates and bitumen (asphaltenes) through Si-O new bonds and cross-linking chemical reactions. This technique allows to reduce the amount of additive by 5-10 times (compared with current amine technology) and to improve durability face to long term harsh climatic conditions.
asphaltnit-LAS is a propietary chemically modified organosilane derivative in liquid form. Chemical interaction with all kind of aggregates (siliceous, calcareous, etc) and bitumen components improves adhesion and moisture sensibility in hot mix asphalt .
Apperance: Transparent-light yellow low viscosity liquid.
Doses starting at 0,05% (with respect to bitumen content)
Excellent mixing with bitumen. Additivated bitumen stable over time.
asphaltnit-LASXT is a propietary chemically modified adhesion promoter in liquid form. Permanent bonds between aggregates and bitumen functional groups in reluctan asphalt mixture that silane technology does not work.
Apperance: Light yellow low viscosity liquid.
Doses starting at 0,025% (with respect to bitumen content)
Excellent mixing with bitumen. Additivated bitumen stable over time.
