About Me

I'm Jen Medved.  I teach first grade at Westlake Elementary.

I have my undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan and my Master's degree in Literacy from the University of Dayton.  I'm licensed to teach kindergartners through ninth graders but have taught the primary grades for my entire career.  I have a passion for teaching reading but am all about math and science too.  

I have three girlies including a set of identical twins.

And one amazingly smart husband and one (thank goodness) son.  I have all kinds of learners in my household and that, I've decided, is a secret weapon in my teaching.
