Read "Just Right" books.
Record books read on Quarterly Reading Log.
"Just Right" books can be found on the website arbookfind.com. Choose "Advanced Search" to search for books within your child's ZPD and subjects of interest. This is not an online reading site, it it only for finding titles. Once you find books of interest, you must go to a library or bookstore to find the book.
Work on the XTra Math website
Practice using flash cards.
Play a math game on the Investigations website.
At the beginning of each unit, a FUNdations Unit Packet will be sent home.
There are activities to complete for practice within the unit packet.
As Fundations weeks usually last longer than actual school weeks, your child may work ahead of the assigned week. In that case, please review Unit Trick Words and Current Words to prepare for the unit tests.
In addition, your child can practice the trick words and current words using Moby Max "Spelling".
Nightly practice will directly correspond to success on the unit tests.
Additional FUNdations resources can be found under the Resources tab.
