Our lesson was a step by step play in which we started with a warm up song. During the warm-up game, it was quite easy to get the children to form a big circle. They were really enthusiastic and eager to participate. There was little bit of chaos, but it was mostly due to their excitement as they understood the point of teamwork and fun. This became obvious when we did the reflection session.
The plastic bottles we used were too light because of the wind so we used cones instead. We also used a whistle which helped a lot when getting the learners' attention. After the first introduction game, the learners expressed their opinions in what they would love as a warm up activity (Fire on the mountain). Using what the learners are more interested in created a variance in our lesson plan, but ultimately making it better and more entertaining. There was great group cohesion, they worked together as a team and they had their own input in our lesson.
Short conclusion: Our lesson involved numerous movements, but the children had a good time and they understood the lesson that we intended for them to learn.
