I was born and raised in Queenstown, a town in the Eastern Cape, where I completed all my schooling before moving to Cape Town to pursue my studies at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). It’s here that my passion for environmental and water science truly flourished. I completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate (honours) studies at UWC and am currently pursuing my Master of Science as a proud Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program Scholar, an opportunity that has further strengthened my commitment to driving positive environmental change across Africa. 

As an environmental and water science student, I’m passionate about spreading awareness on environmental and water issues. My technical expertise spans key areas such as water resource management, environmental monitoring, and sustainable practices. I’ve also developed valuable soft skills such as problem-solving, communication, and collaboration, essential for working on multidisciplinary environmental projects. Additionally, I’m technologically savvy, using various tools and software to analyze and solve complex environmental problems.

One of my long-term career goals is to work on solving environmental issues from an international relations perspective. I believe environmental management requires global collaboration, and I’m committed to working toward solutions that cross borders.
