Tuesday, April 7

Good morning, beautiful people! Today is a new day and with it brings new challenges and excitements. I want to first thank all of you who participate in our meet ups! Now, more than ever, we need to stay connected to our friends and classmates because it is so easy to feel isolated and alone. I value the room full of people that we work with each day, even if it is now a virtual room.

Today's assignment includes creating an energy diagram to show how the molecules are moving to break and form new bonds in our device reactions. You need not do any new calculations, simply use the Delta H value from your reaction in the Material Choice assignment. Follow along with the video to see how to create the diagram and what is expected in each section. Don't forget, you can always schedule office hours appointments if you need additional support!

Hello bugs! Happy Wednesday! Our week is halfway through and yet it feels as though we are just getting started. Today is more of the same. I.e. you will be working on finishing up the How My Device Works to Heat or Cool. I appreciate all of you who have been letting me know about any issues you have had and we have been able to get them resolved. Please make sure that if you have a question, you ask!!! And, if I am honest, I am super missing y'alls beautiful faces so please schedule some office hours to chat and check in, even if it is literally only for a minute!

Thursday, April 9

Hello everyone! We have finally made it to the last bit of this project, and quite frankly, the most fun part! Today, on Google Classroom, you have the instructions for building your funding website to make your heating/cooling device become a reality. There is a template as well as a youtube video explaining how to set up the Google Site to ensure your success. Over the course of the next few days I will be showing you where to find the information to populate the site with. You should not be doing any new work! Everything on your website comes from assignments that you completed previously!
