Meet the Directors

Jessica Loggins









Mrs. Loggins is in her 17th year of teaching and 10th year in Sweeny. Her responsibilities include directing the High School Marching & Concert Bands and the Junior High Concert Band. She also assists with the Junior High Symphonic Band and instructs the beginner flute, clarinet and saxophone classes as well.  

Ensembles under her direction have received Sweepstakes at UIL and individuals under her instruction have earned placement in region ensembles and superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble contests.

A Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Texas, she was a member of the Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Green Brigade Marching Band. Mrs. Loggins was also an active member in Sigma Alpha Iota and served a year on the student leadership committee for the Green Brigade Marching Band.

Mrs. Loggins has been married for 14 years to her husband Mr. Ben  who helps drive the instrument trailer when needed for the Sweeny ISD Band Program. Together they have three girls, Anabelle who attends Sweeny Junior High, Elizabeth who attends Sweeny Elementary and Oliva three years old and eager to be a bulldog in a few years! Their dog Lucky completes the family. 

Brianna Tegeler

Mrs,Tegeler is beginning her ninth year of teaching and her sixth in Sweeny. She conducts the junior high Symphonic Band and assists with the Concert Band and the high school Marching & Concert Bands. Additionally, she teaches the beginner trumpet, horn, low brass, and percussion classes.

Outside of the band hall, Mrs.Tegeler performs as Co-Principal Horn of the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra as well as serving on the Board of Directors. She is also an life member of Tau Beta Sigma, National Band Sorority, and serves the organization nationally as a Chapter Visitation Assistant. 

Additionally, she is actively involved with the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association and the Southwest District Alumni Association.

Mrs.Tegeler graduated in 2014 from Sam Houston State University with her Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music where she served as a Visual Technician and as a Student Assistant in the Bearkat Marching Band. Prior to teaching in Sweeny, she was the assistant band director at Tennyson Middle School in Waco ISD.

In her free time, she enjoys playing video games with her husband and cuddling with her two dogs, Remus and Barry.
