HOW TO USE MICROSOFT OFFICE 365

Office 365 contains all the apps you'll use to send emails, write essays and create presentations. These include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more.

CITYLIFE

Citylife is the college's learning portal. It allows you to access your timetable; change your personal details; access the college's virtual learning environment; and more.

You can access Citylife after you have received your college IT account details.

ONEDRIVE TUTORIAL

OneDrive is your cloud storage space where you can save your files. 

DISCORD

Discord is a free voice, video, and text chat app that's used by tens of millions of people ages 13+ to talk and hang out with their communities and friends. The vast majority of servers are private, invite-only spaces for groups of friends and communities to stay in touch and spend time together.

Padlet is an online noticeboard tool. 

The Microsoft Evaluation Center website allows you to access documentation, demos,virtual labs and evaluation copies of Microsoft Operating Systems for you to download and install on your own device. This will allow you to replicate some of your lab tutorials so you can work on them out of college.

A significant element of your hands on tutorials will involve the use of 'Virtual Machines'. VMware Workstation 17 Player is a platform for running a single virtual machine on a Windows or Linux PC to deliver managed corporate desktops.

You'll be doing a little bit of Python programming during your course. This is a great website with a whole series of introductory lessons on Python.

KALI LINUS DOWNLOAD

Kali Linux is an open-source, Debian-based Linux distribution geared towards various information security tasks, such as Penetration Testing, Security Research, Computer Forensics and Reverse Engineering.
