A warm welcome to our new NQ FINE ART PORTFOLIO STUDENTS. Please complete the tasks below over summer time for your first week of classes.

To prepare for the course we’d like you to bring a few simple things (please don’t overthink them – this is not a trap!)
A shoebox
A colour - could be a splodge of paint or a scrap of paper.
A printed image - from a newspaper or magazine.
A texture - something not precious, an onion bag or piece of bubble wrap etc.
A word – could be meaningful, maybe you just like the sound of it.
Set up a Teams account.
Schedule a meeting with 3 friends or family.
Plan an activity such as a quiz or game.
Practice sharing a screen.
Save screenshots or videos showing your Teams session.

Practice adding content to a new Padlet.
If you are not eligible for a bursary, the approximate cost you will pay for tools and materials is up to £150. Your lecturers will give you advice and support at induction and throughout the course regarding the tools and materials required.
