Take some time over the summer before your course starts and do some research into the industry you're training to become part of. Find out as much information you can regarding your chosen career path, from where you start to where you could go. Use the information below as a starting point and see what else you can find out. 

Who inspires you and where you do you want to go? Do you want to work for yourself or get a job working for a creative company? Collate all your research using one of the platforms you're going to be working on or in your preferred format — we may even ask you to share it with us when you start your course. 

Self publishing and e-publishing are well established now, so these are routes you might think about for your work. How much do you want your work to be in the public eye? Websites and blogs are also acceptable forms of publishing.
