Theology 10 is divided into two semesters, with the first semester being Paschal Mystery and the second semester being Christian Commitments (Vocations).
Paschal Mystery Course Overview
This course explores the Paschal Mystery, which is the mystery by which salvation is offered through the Life, Death, Resurrection, Ascension of Jesus Christ and the coming Parousia. After recalling the need of redemption due to the entrance of sin into creation, the revealing of God’s plan of sharing eternal happiness will be investigated, with the fullness of that plan being the work of Jesus seen in the Paschal Mystery. Attention will then be given to how Christians participate in and through the Paschal Mystery, the Christian understanding of suffering, and what it means for a disciple to live a life in accord to the Paschal Mystery.
