Online Gradebook/PowerSchool
Sacred Heart uses PowerSchool, an online learning management system. For assistance with login user name and password, please contact the office. In addition to a variety of other features, parents and students can use PowerSchool to look at scores for assessments. While grades will be updated regularly, please note that grades are not updated instantly the moment an assessment is turned in. If there is a question or need for a most up-to-date grade report, students and parents can contact me directly. Below are indicators/symbols you may see in PowerSchool.
Student did not and does not need to complete this assessment. This assessment will neither help nor hurt the student’s overall grade for the course.
Assessment has not been turned in by the due date (due date announced in class). Missing assessments may still be turned in to receive partial credit. Assessments will receive a score of zero until it is turned in to show the full impact of the missing assessment on the overall grade in the course.
Assessment has been turned in late or it has not been turned in at all and is no longer eligible for partial or additional credit. If the assignment has not been turned in, it will receive a zero score, which will effect the overall grade for the course.
This check mark shows that a student turned in an assignment but it may not have been graded yet. No further action is needed by the student.

Assessments without a score or one of the above codes are either not due yet or have not been graded yet with a score or one of the above indicators above. Blank scores do not effect overall grade.
