This year my students will embark on an exciting journey of mathematical discovery and growth! Throughout this academic year, our learners will be expected to acquire essential math skills that will serve as fundamental building blocks for their future mathematical pursuits. 

We will delve into a diverse array of topics, starting with a solid understanding of multiplication and division of whole numbers, utilizing patterns to unlock the secrets of multiplication, and achieving fluency in multiplication and division facts up to 12. Students will be studying the properties of quadrilaterals and calculate area and perimeter. Additionally, we will dive into place value, extending up to 10,000, while sharpening our abilities in adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers.   But that's not all! Our mathematical journey will also explore fractions as numbers and the comparisons of fractions.  We will be learning about data collection and interpretation, understanding elapsed time, and delving into the fascinating world of measurement.
