Assembly, Integration and Test Facility
Intense acoustic and vibration generated by rocket engine ignitions during lift-off, shocks generated during separation of stages, fairing and deployment of solar panels, temperature variation between extreme cold and extreme hot, solar radiation and many more - these are just some of the mechanical and thermal effects experienced by the spacecraft and its payload. The Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) Facility which was completed in 2011, is constructed to accommodate the testing requirements that will provide conditions as what will be experienced by a spacecraft and its payload.
Equipped with a receiving airlock, a spacious high bay for integration works, various mechanical ground support equipment, the AIT facility is able to offer a wide spectrum of test services, such as the vibration and acoustic test, thermal and vacuum test, electromagnetic compatibility test, mass properties as well as alignment measurement, all under one roof.
Since 2014, MYSA has received ISO 9001:2008 certification, followed by ISO 9001:2015 certification, for the scope of testing and measurement services related to mechanical engineering, space environment and electromagnetic for commercial and space industry, providing management and support services to all government agencies, universities, industries as well as research institutions.
