Thermal Vacuum Test
The thermal vacuum test simulates the space environment in which a satellite operates, where temperatures can rise to extreme levels under direct solar exposure and drop significantly during eclipse conditions. At MYSA, satellites and space components are tested in thermal vacuum chambers of different capacities (TVC and STVAC), where air is evacuated to create a near-vacuum environment and temperature conditions are carefully controlled to replicate orbital thermal extremes. The test includes thermal cycling, where the test article undergoes repeated transitions between high and low temperatures to ensure proper operation, structural integrity, and overall reliability.
