These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Myriadloop governing your use of the SlayUp mobile application ("SlayUp", "the app"). SlayUp is published by Myriadloop.
By downloading, installing, or using SlayUp, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who can use SlayUp
SlayUp is for users aged 18 and over. By using SlayUp you represent that you are at least 18 years old. The app's scanning function refuses to process images of anyone who appears to be under 18. If you let someone under 18 use your device to scan themselves, you are responsible for that use.
What SlayUp does and does not claim
SlayUp produces an AI-generated beauty reading based on a single face photo and your optional quiz answers. The reading contains numeric scores, dimensional breakdowns, and personalised recommendations.
The reading is for entertainment and personal-care guidance only. It is not:
medical, dermatological, dental, optometric, psychiatric, or other professional advice;
a diagnosis of any health condition;
a guarantee of any outcome, appearance change, or improvement;
a substitute for the advice of a qualified professional.
Do not rely on SlayUp's output to make decisions about your health, medical treatment, cosmetic procedures, or anything else where professional advice is appropriate. Always consult a qualified professional for those decisions.
You acknowledge that AI models can make mistakes, that scores are subjective ratings produced by a probabilistic model, and that two scans of the same photo may produce slightly different results.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
SlayUp Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. The current plan is $3.99 USD per week (or local equivalent shown in the App Store at the time of purchase).
Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment card.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal time.
To cancel, open the Settings app on your device tap your name Subscriptions SlayUp Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
No refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled exclusively by Apple under Apple's published refund policy. Myriadloop does not issue refunds.
Prices may change. If we change the price, the new price will apply only from your next renewal after we notify you, and you can cancel before then if you do not agree.
Your account
SlayUp creates an anonymous account for you on first launch. You do not need to provide personal details to use the app. You are responsible for the device on which the app is installed and for any activity that occurs through your account on that device. You may delete your account at any time from Settings Account Delete Account; deletion is permanent and removes your scan history, quiz answers, and account identifier from our servers.
Your content and photos
The photo you submit for a scan and the answers you give in the quiz are your content. You keep ownership of your content.
By submitting content to SlayUp you grant Myriadloop a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, transmit, store (where applicable), and analyse that content for the sole purpose of providing the SlayUp service to you including sending the photo to our AI provider for analysis. We do not use your content to train any AI model on our behalf, and we do not sell or share your content with third parties for their own purposes.
You represent and warrant that:
you are the person in the photo, or you have the right to submit the photo of someone else who is at least 18 and has consented to its use in SlayUp;
the photo does not infringe anyone's rights, contain unlawful material, or depict minors in any unlawful context.
Acceptable use
When using SlayUp, you agree not to:
use SlayUp for any unlawful purpose;
attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or models behind SlayUp;
attempt to bypass our quotas, payment systems, or the age gate;
submit images of anyone under 18, except images of yourself if you yourself are over 18;
submit imagery that is sexual, violent, illegal, or otherwise designed to manipulate the AI model into producing harmful output;
harass, demean, or attempt to score images of other people without their consent;
use SlayUp to produce content that you then misrepresent as a medical, professional, or diagnostic opinion to a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to SlayUp at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms.
Intellectual property
SlayUp, including its software, design, scoring system, prompts, and content we produce (other than your content), is owned by Myriadloop or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use SlayUp on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, and solely in accordance with these Terms and any rules Apple imposes on App Store apps.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of any part of SlayUp.
Apple App Store terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and Myriadloop only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Myriadloop, not Apple, is solely responsible for SlayUp and its content. That said, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You also acknowledge:
Licence scope. SlayUp is licensed to you on a limited, non-transferable basis for use on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Maintenance and support. Myriadloop is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for SlayUp. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support.
Warranties. In the event of any failure of SlayUp to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for SlayUp. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Myriadloop's sole responsibility.
Product claims. Myriadloop, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any user or third-party claims relating to SlayUp or your possession or use of SlayUp, including product-liability, consumer-protection, and IP claims.
Compliance with laws. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlayUp is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We do not warrant that SlayUp's output is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular use. Use of the service is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myriadloop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or relating to your use of SlayUp, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to SlayUp will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us through your SlayUp subscription in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in those jurisdictions, the limits above apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Myriadloop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of SlayUp, (c) your content, or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, surface a notice inside the app. Your continued use of SlayUp after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, stop using SlayUp and delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Myriadloop agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SlayUp, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual-property rights.
This section does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
Miscellaneous
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Myriadloop about SlayUp, and they supersede any prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Apple's Standard EULA. Where these Terms are silent, the relevant provisions of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply.
