This page explains how to delete your SlayUp account and the personal data associated with it. SlayUp is published by Myriadloop.
How to delete your account from inside the app
Open SlayUp on your device and follow these steps:
Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen to open Settings.
2. Scroll down to the Account section.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the intro sheet, then tap Continue.
5. On the confirmation sheet, type DELETE (uppercase) in the text field to enable the deletion button.
6. Tap Delete account.
That's it. The deletion runs immediately. There is no waiting period and no review queue.
What gets deleted
When you confirm deletion, we permanently remove the following from our servers:
Your account identifier. Your anonymous Firebase user ID.
Your scan history. All readings stored under your account, including the numeric scores, dimensions, recommendations, and the raw API response we kept for quality and debugging.
Your quiz answers. Gender, age range, focus area, and commitment level, if you provided them.
Your subscription state on our side. Your RevenueCat customer record for SlayUp.
Any files stored under your account in Firebase Storage. SlayUp does not currently persist scan photos to Storage, so this is a no-op today, but the deletion call still runs against the prefix to stay correct as the schema evolves.
Deletion is irreversible. The same Firebase user ID cannot be recovered.
What is retained, and for how long
Crash diagnostics. Firebase Crashlytics may retain crash reports (stack traces, device model, OS version) for up to 90 days. Crash reports do not contain your photos, quiz answers, or anything that identifies you personally.
Aggregated, non-identifying analytics. If we begin recording any product analytics in a future update, those events would be retained according to Firebase Analytics' standard retention. At the time this page takes effect, no analytics events are recorded.
Records we are legally required to keep. For example, App Store and Google Play transaction records associated with your subscription are retained by Apple or Google under their own policies. Myriadloop does not control how long the app stores retain those records.
What happens to your scan photo
SlayUp does not retain your scan photo on its servers after the scan completes. Each photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our analysis provider (OpenRouter / OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini), the model returns a structured analysis, and we save only the analysis result to your reading history. There is no permanent photo store on our side to delete.
Photos handled by OpenRouter and OpenAI during processing are governed by their retention policies. See our Privacy Policy for links.
Subscriptions
Deleting your SlayUp account does not cancel your subscription. Apple and Google handle subscription billing Myriadloop never sees your card.
To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, do so from the platform you subscribed through, before you delete your account:
iOS. Open the device Settings app tap your name at the top Subscriptions SlayUp Cancel Subscription.
Android. Open the Google Play Store app tap your profile icon Payments and subscriptions Subscriptions SlayUp Cancel subscription.
If you delete your SlayUp account while a subscription is still active, the subscription will continue to renew on your store account until you cancel it through the store.
If you have already uninstalled the app
SlayUp accounts are tied to an anonymous identifier that exists only on the device where you first opened the app. We never collect your name, email address, or any other personal detail that would let us identify which account belongs to you without access to that device.
This is privacy-positive we cannot identify your data but it also means that if you have uninstalled the app without using the in-app deletion flow above, we cannot delete your account on your behalf by request, because we have no way to verify which anonymous account is yours.
In that situation, your data sits inert on our servers (unlinked to any real-world identity) until automatic retention rules expire it. To run the deletion flow yourself, reinstall SlayUp, open it on the original device if possible, and follow the steps in the first section of this page. Reinstalling does not generate a fresh anonymous identifier as long as the device's local storage for SlayUp has not been cleared.
