Math For Life & Guided Study with Looker
During Math For Life, students will receive instruction with a focus on learning foundational math skills that will help them be successful in the workforce and as consumers in their everyday life. They will refine and expand problem-solving skills while improving or polishing their organizational skills.
During Guided Study, students will receive instruction within their IEP goal area(s), support in completing regular education classroom assignments and assistance in preparing for tests and quizzes. Students will use this time to stay organized by checking their grades in Synergy and upcoming assignments on teacher websites. In addition, instruction in academic behavior life skills such as grit, growth mindset, goal setting, optimism and self-advocacy will be a part of this guided study time.
