After spending the summer furthering my education, spending time with family and friends I am relaxed, refreshed, and ready to start the 2024-2025 school year. This will be my 22nd year at Franklin Middle School and I cannot think of a better place to spend it.

My son Gerrit is in his final year at Mayville State University (which also just happens to be the school I attended).

Like me he was drawn to the sciences and has spent his summer working as a research assistant in the Chemistry lab.

Mia is my 4 and a half year-old standard poodle. She is full of energy and is very sassy. She participated in her first puppy parade dressed to look like her human "brother."
