Standardized Testing

All standardized assessments are administered in-person and computer-based. Students in Grades 3-9 and 11 are required to test.

Administration of the Arizona Academic Standards Assessment (AASA; Grades 3-8), Arizona Science Test (AzSCI; Grade 5, 8, and 11, ACT Aspire (Grade 9), and ACT (Grade 11), is required and scheduled to take place between March 18-April 25, 2025. Primavera Online has a responsibility to administer the assessment from Arizona Department of Education (ADE) and United States Department of Education (USDOE). Failure to administer the assessments, as required, could have negative consequences for Primavera Online.

AASA is the new statewide achievement test for Arizona students. Arizona public school students in Grades 3 - 8. AASA assessments tests in English Language Arts (Writing/Reading) and Mathematics. A computer based test.

ACT for Grade 11

ACT is the statewide high school assessment test for Grade 11. The assessments tests in English, Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Writing. The ACT measures what students need to know to be ready for entry-level college-credit courses.

ACT Aspire for Grade 9

ACT Aspire is the statewide high school assessment test for Grade 9. The assessments tests in English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science. The test is intended to measure student achievement and progress toward college and career readiness.

AzSCI-New test replaces AIMS Science for Grades 5, 8, and 11

The AzSCI (Science)Test is a computer based test and administered to students in Grades 5, 8, and 11.

Benchmark Testing

DIBELS for Grades K-3

Assessment test for K-3 students. The test is administered three times a year. The legislation in A.R.S §15-704 is designed to help identify students with characteristics of Dyslexia so interventions can be in place. The test subject areas are in Reading only.

NWEA-MAP Growth for Grades 3-11: DISCONTINUED, switched to Exact Path

Assessment test for 3-11 students. The test is administered three times a year to measure an individual student's academic level and growth, and use the resulting data as a transformational teaching tool. The test subject areas, Language Usage, Reading, Math, and Science.
