The Certified Green Project Manager – Level B (GPM-b) is the foundational, knowledge-based sustainability certification that supports the commitment of those in project management to maximize sustainability within the project lifecycle, to improve the construct and delivery of goods and services produced as project deliverables, and to use measurable standards to consider and account for social, environmental, and economic impacts in projects.
The GPM-b certification is the first project management credential for individuals that allows them to demonstrate their knowledge in delivering projects using sustainable methods.
If you are able to demonstrate your prior knowledge in project management, then you are eligible for recognition of prior learning (RPL).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be granted for any of the following credentials:
Holders of PMI certification (e.g. CAPM, PMP, PgMP, etc..)
Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Project or Program Management from an accredited college or university
Ph.D. Master’s Degree in Sustainability or Sustainable Development, with a concentration in Project or Program Management, from an accredited college or university
Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Project or Program Management, from an accredited college or university
Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with a concentration in Project or Program Management, from an accredited college or university
AIPM certification, CPPM, CPSPM, or CPPD
IPMA certification, Level A, B, C, or D
PRINCE2® Practitioner
Other credentials with the advance, written approval of GPM’s Director of Certification may be considered.
