Want to join the Spring Lake Park High School robotics team? This page is for you. It gives a brief description of every team, what they do, and other important things. 

Build:

This team builds the robot and field elements during the season. They use mathematical skills, problem solving, and construction techniques to build the robot.  

Inventory:

This team organizes the parts closet to make it easier for people to access, keeps track of what parts we do and don’t need, and helps make sure that the build team has the parts they need. 

code:

This team makes the code for the robot and the scouting app. They do a lot of problem solving.

design:

This team designs the robot that the build team will build during the build season. This team learns how to use CAD (Computer Aided Design) and measurement constraints of the robot to design a robot that will fulfill our goals for the game.

drive :

This team drives the robot and comes up with strategies during the competition. Applications for this team are no longer open and people can no longer join this team for the year. 

safety :

This team trains people in how to do certain tasks that can be dangerous (lifting, using a saw, fire extinguisher, hand tools), distributes PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and logging all of these down in databases, so that we know when we need more presentations or to check the spill kit.

Business:

This team focuses on the financial aspects of the team and also handles social media. They get a lot of valuable experience in money management, marketing, and communication.
