Dear Parents/Guardians of Senior Kindergarten (SK),

Assalamalaikum Rehmatullahi Wa Baraqatahu,

I pray to Allah (SWT) to grant us Tawfeeq and blessings for a successful year. 

On behalf of the staff at Ottawa Islamic School, we welcome you to another fun-filled academic year! I look forward to your support and suggestions to ensure the children under my care achieve their goals as practicing Muslims with strong Islamic faith and etiquette. Together we share the responsibility for their success, and we ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

• Regularly attends school on time and follows the classroom rules.

• Memorizes the Quran with them every day to nurture a love for Allah and his Deen.

• Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.

• Share school experiences with you so you know about their learning experiences.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if your child needs additional support in any area or subject. The amazing OIS staff and I feel privileged to be a part of this school. We thank you for your support and look forward to meeting you. In Shaa Allah, we pray to Allah for a successful year.
