Assalamalaikum Rehmatullahi wa baraqatahu,

• I welcome all my students to yet another fun-filled year of play-based learning experiences at Ottawa Islamic School. I hereby request the parents to duly fill out the above circular which includes the student's name, Parent's name, email, phone no, note, and signature, and return it to me at your earliest.

• Kindly specify if the child has any allergies or medical conditions that need special attention or care.

• Please provide an extra pair of indoor shoes and a spare set of clothes for the child neat labeled.

• Please ensure the child is in class by 9:15 am latest. If they happen to be late you can drop them from the main entrance. This would ensure the class does not get disturbed during the learning process.

• If you have any suggestions you are free to share them with me.

Meet the Teacher/ Curriculum Night 

Monday 29th September, we will have "Meet the Teacher Night". Please note that this is a parents only event with no students. It will be for parents from grade JK to grade 12. It will be an opportunity for you to meet your child's teacher and for them to provide you with  tips to do well in their classes.   Please note this is not about discussing individual students. This is general information sharing  with parents from teachers. Parent / Teacher interviews will be in November once report cards are released.

There will be a presentation starting at 3:30 for all parents in the gym .
