Baseball has been a big part of my life as far back as I can remember. I remember playing baseball in my grandma's backyard at a family gathering when I was about 4 years old. I have loved baseball since I first played it as a toddler. Many things that happen in my life surround baseball. I play baseball most nights of the week, and if I am not playing baseball I am probably doing something to help further my baseball career. My baseball career has led me to do very interesting things in my lifetime. When I was about 11 years old I had the opportunity to go to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to play in a baseball tournament. The next year, I went to Cooperstown, New York to, once again, play baseball. On this past year I had the opportunity to travel to California to play baseball as I said on the last page. Baseball has given me opportunities and experiences that I would not have gotten without getting into baseball when I was a young boy. Baseball has taught me to appreciate what I have. It has also taught me that if you really care about something, and put effort into it, it can take you far. I know that I had the opportunity to go on all of these trips and more because I committed large amounts of my time to playing and getting better at baseball. I am going to continue to pursue my baseball career in the hope that it will continue to give me prestigious opportunities that will help me in college and further in life.
