One of my many passions is soccer. I have been playing soccer for almost my whole life. When I was first able to run around the age of five, my dad taught me how to play soccer. My brothers, dad, and I would play two vs two in our play room all of the time. Once, we got older we would play outside in our backyard. I began to play in a league around age 9, my dad along with our family friend’s dad coached the team. I continued to play at my old school from age 10-14 on the middle and high school team. This year will be my second year playing for North Broward. For big soccer games my family invites friends and family friends over to both pizza and soccer. We wind up playing soccer outside too during half time. It has brought me closer to my dad, ever since he taught me how to kick a ball. It always gives us something to talk about and he is always willing to help me improve in any way. Soccer has not only brought me closer to my dad, but taught me so many things. I have learned so much about hard work, dedication, perseverance, and teamwork.
