2025-26 Spanish World Language 7/8 & Discovery Spanish 5/6 Blog
Bienvenidos!
Students completed an introductory communicative unit (a great refresher as well for a couple students) on greetings/salutations as well as asking and describing how they and others are feeling. Students demonstrated their learning by creating a comic strip with a variety of imaginative characters. They did a great job!
During October 6th- 17th:
7th and 8th grade Spanish classes are working on a Famous Hispanic Person biography project to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. They will be presenting later this week and early next week. Additionally, students will be reflecting on their projects and impact Hispanic People have had on the U.S. and around the world.
5th and 6th Discovery Spanish classes did an amazing job creating a comic strip with a variety of imaginative characters. A new curriculum of comprehensible input has been incorporated into class learning. ["Comprehensible input is language input that can be understood by listeners despite them not understanding all the words and structures in it. "-TeachingEnglish.org]
