Pentathlon
The Academic Pentathlon prepares students for success in college and careers by building 21st century skills in communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and character.
Academic Pentathlon is an exciting five-event competition for grades six, seven, and eight. The program engages students of all achievement levels in a variety of challenging academic events.
Under the guidance of an adult coach, teams of students prepare for competition in the subject areas of fine arts (art and music), literature (including essay analysis), math, science, and social science.

Mock Trial
Mock Trial is a competition in which students simulate a real trial. The trial concerns an official AMTA case that remains the same through the entire academic year. The case alternates between a civil and a criminal case every year. Teams consist of six to ten members, but only six compete at any given time - 3 attorneys and 3 witnesses. These six people will go against six other people from a different university. Teams must prepare both sides of the case (prosecution/plaintiff and defense) for every competition. This means that any given person could have two roles: one for each side of the case.

A mentoring program for students
The Movement
NCRF has created programs and initiatives to provide guidance, resources, information and pipelines to empower students toward positive post-secondary pursuits, and particularly in the job growth areas, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Agriculture/Aviation/Aerospace and Math), Healthcare and Community Services. To support these initiatives, NCRF has developed programs like The Movement Enrichment Program; Students Think STEAM; Internship & Careers, and College Expos to help close the gap in academic achievement, workforce, and economic disparities.
Think Together
Think Together is a California-based nonprofit organization that works with school districts and local communities to offer extended learning programs for underprivileged and low-income children. In addition to supplementing in-school programs for students in grades K-12, the organization also offers summer and intersession programs, early learning support and community programs held outside of schools.
Leadership
WELCOME! "California law allows students in California's public schools to raise money and make decisions about how they will spend this money. Student organizations established to raise and spend money on behalf of students are called Associated Student Body organizations, or ASBs."
ASB is a representative group of CCMS students who communicate and interact with the student body to create and uphold a positive school environment by hosting activities, determining funds, enhancing school spirit, and contributing to the greater community through service.
