Meet Mrs. Clara Allemand

Hi! My name is Mrs. Clara Louise Brumfield Allemand, and I will be your child's 2nd Grade Math and P.E. teacher this school year. I am extremely excited about getting to know all of you. I am ready for a SUPER YEAR teaching your child.

In 1993, I graduated from South Lafourche High School. In the winter of 1998, I graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified in grades 1-8. I taught 4th Grade ELA and Math, 3rd Grade ELA, Math, and Social Living, and 2nd Grade ELA, Math, and Social Living. This is my 23rd year of teaching.

As a child, I grew up mostly in Cut Off, LA. When I was little, I enjoyed being outside, and I loved eating Cajun food. Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a school teacher. I come from a family of school teachers. In elementary school, I went to Galliano Elementary School and Cut Off Elementary School. In junior high, I went to Golden Meadow Junior High. In high school, I went to South Lafourche High School.

I am married to Eno Joseph Allemand III, and we have seven children. We have five boys (Beaux, Tray, Brock, Titan, and Eno IV), and we have two girls (Bindi and Blair).

In spite of the circumstances, I am looking forward to an exciting, enjoyable, and wonderful school year.

Meet Mrs. Aubrey Pousson

Hi! I am Mrs. Aubrey and I will be teaching you all about Math and Social Living! I am so excited about getting to know you!

I was a teacher for six years starting in 2007 but then, I decided to stay home with my itty, bitty baby named Trey. He's a big boy now and you may know him because he's in second grade at COES too! I returned to teaching last year when Trey's little sister, Rose, started Pre-K. This is my second year teaching second grade Math and SL at COES.

We are going to have so much fun learning this year! It will be a bit different than what we have done in the past but it's going to be AWESOME!!! 😃

Meet Mrs. Raines

(aka Mrs. Annette)

Hello Parents and Students,

I am Mrs. Raines, and I will be your ELA teacher. I started teaching in 2012, and have taught every subject between ELA, Math, and Social Living. I have lived and loved living on the bayou my whole life, and I reside in Larose with my husband, Josh, and our 3 kids, Josh Jr., John, and Vaida.

One thing that I love the most about being a teacher is the impact that being a teacher makes on a child's life. You are not just a teacher, but a role model, friend, caregiver, nurse, and 2nd or even 3rd mom to everyone of these kids.

This is my second year teaching at COES, and I know that despite the circumstances of this year, this will be a wonderful, exciting, and amazing journey for all of our 2nd graders. Cant wait to see you all soon!
