I participated in a Community Pop-up that Tina Rhae at Zenti Bistro hosted this weekend. It was my first one for this experiment that I call my small business venture as MyLittleFe. Was I anxious? Absolutely! It's one thing if I'm helping at a vendor fair, it's another thing altogether if I'm doing it for myself.
You know when you have it all planned on paper and in your head but you still forget half the things you had intended to do? Yes, that's what ended up happening.
I have met Tina Rhae a little over a month ago when we strolled into her the bistro to have breakfast. She had convinced us to go to Karaoke Tuesdays and then found out that she also does these Community Pop-Up "Sip, Shop & Eat". And through weeks of being convinced to join, I took the plunge. I featured my mom and my cousin too in my display and I even had small plants because, why not?
I did not make a ton of sales but I still feel very thankful and fortunate to have met a lot of very cool group of people and talented ones at that. Everyone was so kind and had shared their stories on how they got started themselves and that is very inspiring to hear.
I had not done a good job of taking ample pictures of everyone that participated. I have a lot to learn in this field but I look forward to learning them and I know one way to do that is by being part of this supportive community.
