Elementary Students:
Monthly Check-ins: Students meet with the GT Liaison each month for enrichment and support.
Field Experiences: Hands-on learning opportunities connected to each grade level’s theme.
Middle School Prep: Special 5th grade meeting in May to get ready for the exciting transition to middle school.
Middle School Students:
Quarterly Meetups: Students connect with the GT Liaison 4 times a year.
Middle School Symposium: Chance to attend a special learning event in the spring.
High School Prep: 8th graders meet in January to explore upcoming high school opportunities.
High School Students:
Quarterly Meetups: Students meet with the GT Liaison 4 times a year for guidance and support.
High School Symposium: Opportunity to attend a special fall event focused on giftedness and growth mindset
Freshman Kickoff: 9th graders meet in September to help with a smooth transition into high school pathways.
GIEPs (Gifted Individualized Educational Plan):
Personalized Support: written plan created to meet the unique educational needs of an identified gifted child
Student Centered: focus is on the child and how to best serve them
Progress Monitoring: plans are designed for a specific amount of time
Mentorship: student guidance to encourage growth in areas of concern
