Discover the Treasure of Reading!

This year, as we Sail into Greatness Together, we're excited to launch our new Discover the Treasure of Reading program!

Throughout the school year, any staff member may reward students with a Treasure Ticket when they are spotted reading independently—whether it's in the hallway, before school, during recess, in the cafeteria, or anywhere around campus. Students bring their Treasure Ticket to the library to receive a small prize and be entered into our weekly grade-level Treasure Drawing.

There is no limit to how many Treasure Tickets a student can earn. Every book is a new adventure, and every reading moment is a chance to discover something amazing!

Our hallway display will feature a treasure chest for each grade level, filling with gold coins throughout the year as students continue to discover the treasure found in books.

After all, the greatest treasure isn't buried...it's found in books!
