Heart and Soul Award

Presented IN HONOR OF MARY PAUKERT to a staff member who has consistently given his or her "heart and soul" to the promotion of the history and traditions of Grand Forks Central High School. A 1966 GFC graduate and Hall of Fame member, Mary's 32 year teaching and coaching career was spent tirelessly promoting the Maroon and Grey, and particularily working to see that girls were fairly recongized for their achievements. "MP" retired in 2002, but not before touching the lives of countless students and colleagues. This award recognizes a staff member who has a similar story to tell.
