Academic: provides individual advisement, delivers in-class lessons, supports with students' schedules, and collaborates with staff and parents/guardians to assess students' academic needs.
College/Career: delivers college and career- driven lessons, provides college and career resources, and supports with the transition to high school.
Social-Emotional: provides check-ins with students, delivers in-class lessons and resources and small groups.

Nicolas Community Center
In addition to the on campus counseling support, our Nicolas Community Center is located on Nicolas' campus. Our focus is to provide a whole-child, whole-school model for equitable school improvement by providing more resources, support, social services, and community engagement opportunities for our students, families, and community members. Staff, resources, and social services connections will be readily available at our Community Center.

Confidentiality Statement
As your School Counselor, Mental Health Therapists, and School Psychologist on campus, we maintain strict confidentiality in all of our interactions. All meetings with the school counselor, licensed therapist or school psychologist will remain confidential unless the student gives permission to share information with related parties.
However, circumstances do arise where we must disclose information to appropriate professionals and/or other trusted adults. Reasons for breaking confidentiality are but not limited to: a student is in danger of harming themselves, another individual, or if a student is in danger of being harmed by others.
