Have good attendance
Attendance is the number-one success factor!
Be in school unless you have a legitimate reason (like an illness) for being absent.
2. Be organized
Use a planner to record assignments, tests, and appointments.
Make To-Do lists and cross things off as you complete them.
3. Set Goals
Having goals gives you direction, focus, and purpose.
Set some academic and personal short-term and long-term goals.
4. Do ALL your homework & classwork
Your homework, projects, and quizzes will be part of your final grades. If you do ALL your homework and classwork, you are sure to succeed in your classes.
5. Ask for Help
Ask for help when you need it. Your teachers and staff are here to support you.
Here is an example (template) of what your email should look like. Please copy and paste if that helps.
