Please refer to the attachment if you are interested in being on the planning committee for Day of the Child. Day of the Child takes place on 4/28/2023.

We wanted to let you know about an art competition opportunity hosted by the 45th Congressional District. 

Any student in 6th grade through high school is encouraged to submit a piece of artwork to this nationwide competition. 

The deadline for submission is April 17, so please click on the link below for additional details.

Artwork Criteria:

Artwork entered in the contest may be up to 26 inches by 26 inches, up to 4 inches in depth, and not weigh more than 15 pounds. If your artwork is selected as the winning piece, it must arrive framed and must still measure no larger than the above maximum dimensions.

Paintings - including oil, acrylics, and watercolor

Drawings - including pastels, colored pencils, pencils, charcoal, ink, and markers (It is recommended that charcoal and pastel drawings be fixed.)

Collages - must be two dimensional

Prints - including lithographs, silkscreen, and block prints

Mixed Media - use of more than two mediums such as pencil, ink, watercolor, etc.
