Jr. High Model/Schedule

The 6th-grade teachers will be slowly integrating a "jr high" model for students to build confidence and preparedness for their next school year. This means that students will be moving back and forth between the 6th-grade classes for various subjects such as computer science/coding, social-emotional learning, science, and social studies. In addition, students will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple peers in the grade level.

The following is what a typical schedule may look like:

*Subject to change

Laptop/iPad Expectations

Students are responsible for their district-issued LAPTOP which means the following:

  • Keep case on, no stickers

  • Charge every night

  • Keep track of district-issued charger

  • Bring device and charger to school every day.

  • There is a 3 strike policy. If students cannot charge their laptops after 3 times, we will need to talk about leaving their laptop here at school so they can be the most successful in class.
