You are being advised to purchase your own copy to mark and study from. If you need to borrow music, please message Ms. Selke ASAP.
Other requirements to prepare:
Chromatic scale - full range of your instruments (likely 2-3 octaves varying on the instrument)
Scales - up to 4 flats and 4 sharps (major scales)
Sight-reading - use Sight Reading Factory.com for daily practice!

Students are responsible for obtaining an original copy of the solo, practicing the required scales and practicing sight reading. Ms. Selke will schedule after school lessons to help with preparation for the audition however students are highly encouraged to work with a private teacher outside of school.
Important dates to remember:
FRIDAY, OCTOBER TBD - signed registration forms & payment due
Tuesday, November 28, 2023 (evening call time by school name TBA) - In-person auditions at Gov. Mifflin HS
SATURDAY, December 4, 2023 (morning audition by school name, time TBA) - In-person auditions at Parkland HS
Students are responsible for their own transportation to/from auditions
