Neurology Challenge

Project Overview

The Objective of the Neurology Challenge was to make a final diagnosis, after being given a patient with a certain set of symptoms. We first had to make a differential diagnosis to have a list of possible diseases the patient had. We then eliminated each one by seeing which set of symptoms was the closest to the symptoms the patient had, and we also used different tests to determine what the patient had. My role in the project was to come up with the differential diagnosis and to find tests and models to show how we came to our final diagnosis. In this project I learned about different neurological diseases and how test and find out which one a patient has. Some hardships we had during this project was coming up with a final diagnosis as some of the symptoms were very similar and we had to look for seemingly random information to come up with our diagnosis.
