It is paramount for English Language Learners to have a vast amount of high-quality reading materials to develop a reading habit that will help them on their path to fluency. My classes have been incorporating reading of authentic English storybooks since 2015. Since English books are so expensive in Taiwan, I have led an effort to share these resouces in the form of PowerPoint books for other schools and teachers to also be able to supply their students with opportunities to read.
