112 Victory for Tsunshang Elementary School

Tsunshang Elementary School proudly won the All-County Special Excellence Award in the 113th Changhua County.This marks the school’s fifth consecutive year of receiving this prestigious recognition.After two months of dedicated practice and hard work, our students and teachers finally tasted the sweet fruit of success.Through this competition, the children not only improved their English skills but also became more confident and capable in using the language.

ENGLISH READING COMPETITION – CHAMPIONS!

After nearly two months of continuous and dedicated practice, our hard work has paid off—we are proud to be this year’s English Reading Competition Champions!

At the beginning, it was a real challenge for the students. The vocabulary in the informative stories was difficult, and since the school is quite large, each team had to prepare two stories, complete with tone, expression, and gestures. The rehearsals were intense, especially considering the language barrier. The final story was determined by a draw, adding to the pressure and uncertainty.

There were moments of tension, fatigue, and scheduling conflicts—but despite it all, we pushed through. I’m deeply grateful for the wisdom and strength that kept us going and for the perseverance of every student who gave their best every single day.

What makes this victory even more meaningful is that we made history—this is the first time our school has ever taken the championship title in the English Reading Competition. I couldn’t be prouder of my students. Good job!

A heartfelt thank you to our LET, our supportive adviser, our principal, and our director—your trust and encouragement played a huge part in this success.

Each grade level showcased remarkable performances during the recently concluded English Song Competition. It was both heartwarming and inspiring to see the students sing with such confidence and enthusiasm, especially considering the inherent challenges of performing in a second language.

Despite the language barrier, the students demonstrated a strong commitment to learning and improvement. Their ability to memorize lyrics, understand meaning, and deliver expressive performances is a testament to their dedication and the guidance they received throughout the preparation period.

This event highlighted not only the students' talents but also their resilience and adaptability. I am sincerely grateful for the knowledge, wisdom, and collaborative efforts that contributed to the success of this competition. Special appreciation is also extended to the teachers and staff who patiently supported and encouraged the students every step of the way.

Overall, the competition served as a meaningful platform to enhance language skills, build confidence, and foster a deeper appreciation for English through music.
